Rock climbing is the fundamental element of all climbing and mountaineering.
Infinity Mountain Guides are accomplished rock climbers and passionate about all aspects of rock climbing
With our guides based in North Wales, Scotland and the Alps, we are ideally suited to offer a progressive and challenging range of guided rock climbs, whether you want to follow in Joe Brown’s footsteps in the Llanberis pass or Tom Patey on the isolated sea stacks off the Scottish coast we can arrange a unique experience.
The UK, especially North Wales, the Lakes and Scotland have an enormous wealth of scrambling and climbing on some fabulous journeys through amazing locations providing a challenging experience either on long scrambles or less technical climbing.
Scrambling is great way to experience some of the best mountainous locations in the UK and is excellent preparation for the constant movement required in the alps.
Perfect cracks, rough granite slabs, sunshine and amazing vistas are the ingredients which make alpine rock climbing so special. The European Alps is one of the best playgrounds in the world. We have so much choice, from cragging in Valle de Orca in Italy to the mountain crags of Chamonix granite, to the mighty walls of Piz Badile or the unique climbs of the Dolomites and the Engelhorner. Long moderate scrambles to summits, classic traverses, steep rock routes to airy summits….take your pick!
